2 officers hurt in Baldwin Park shooting
Two police officers were shot in Baldwin Park on Saturday evening, and there was a large law enforcement presence in a residential neighborhood as police appeared to be looking for a suspect or suspects.
It happened in the 4200 block of Filhurst Avenue, Los Angeles County Fire Department Capt. Sheila Kelliher told City News Service.
One was taken to a hospital by air and the other by ground ambulance.
News video from the scene shows a large law enforcement presence, including SWAT officers and armored vehicles, in the residential neighborhood in the area of Palm and Harlan avenues.
Information on the conditions of the officers was not immediately available.
The violence was reported to authorities around 7:23 p.m., the Citizen App reported.
