Preso follows the true-to-life story of Wendell Tolibas, a man whose life spirals into chaos after witnessing a traumatic incident. Consumed by pain and anger, he turns to rebellion, drug addiction, and crime while living in Davao. Arrested and publicly shamed in 2017, he found himself trapped behind bars and at rock bottom. “When I first read the script, I said, ‘This person’s story is inspiring.
