SCNG’s parent company, American Red Cross, team up to support LA-area disaster relief
The Tribune Publishing Company, LLC, and its affiliate MediaNewsGroup, Inc., have partnered with the American Red Cross to support disaster relief in the Los Angeles area.
Proceeds from sales from a special “California Love Shirt” will benefit relief efforts.
The massive recovery effort in the wake of the Eaton and Palisades fires inspired the collaboration as a way to continue to support the local community, company officials said.
The Southern California News Group, including the Orange County Register and the Los Angeles Daily News, is part of MediaNews Group.
The Red Cross efforts that would benefit from the proceeds include disaster response, collecting lifesaving blood, teaching skills to save a life, or helping military members and their families during emergencies.
“As the 2025 Southern California wildfires have taught us, the strength of a community and supporting those in need is powerful,” according to Tribune Publishing, LLC.
