Motorcycle theft suspect on chase through Pasadena, Glendale disappears in LA
A suspect riding a possibly stolen motorcycle led authorities in a chase Wednesday on streets and freeways in Pasadena, Glendale and Los Angeles before riding into an underground parking structure and apparently eluding capture.
The chase started just after noon Wednesday in the La Cañada Flintridge area, according to multiple reports.
The motorcyclist drove on surface streets of Pasadena and Glendale, occasionally traveling on the 210 Freeway, before embarking on the 110 Freeway toward downtown Los Angeles.
The Glendale, Pasadena and Los Angeles police departments along with the California Highway Patrol largely tracked the motorcylist from the air, with the suspect driving erratically and at high speeds.
The suspect was seen running red lights, riding on the wrong side of roads and cutting off vehicles.
Around 1 p.m., the suspect veered into an underground parking structure of a large apartment complex near Figueroa Street and Sunset Boulevard in Chinatown.
Several patrol vehicles were seen by the building, as officers began a search. It was not immediately known if the suspect was located and arrested.
